L'Age d'Or, Friends ReminiscingSummary

"Time and memory are true artists, they remold reality nearer to the heart's desire." -John Dewey

Memory is a powerful faculty of the brain that shapes our view of ourselves and how we interact with the world around us. In this exhibit, we challenge artists to submit work that explores the role memory plays in their lives and/or in their creative process. Artists may submit artwork that depicts a personal or a cultural memory; or they may explore a more philosophical and creative concept of memory. The interpretation is up to each individual artist. Artists may submit representational, abstract and conceptual works of art, ranging from drawings, paintings, collage, and photographic and digital art.
